Morning Cuddles

This is a gift for my friend Shizz on Tumblr. This is her Christmas present, to be specific, XDDD.

Hubert and Pascal the morning after obvious prior activities.

I used a reference for their poses but man, even with a reference, I just can't seem to do guy chests X__X. I tried a few times to give Hubert nipples, cuz you know if I was going to give Pascal one, Hubert should have them too but I couldn't figure out how or where to place them in such a way that it didn't look weird. So I just left them out on him.

Also I thought it might be a good idea to try drawing the underlid of the eye when a character's eyes aren't closed like they are in sleep (like Hubert), but that looks weird so I'll probably just leave it out in future drawings like I have been. Was worth a try, anyway.

I feel like this exercise in using references has given me a little bit more of an understanding of hands..............
